Swapping Stators, cdi, start switch

Heres the deal.

I have 3 warriors, i'm pretty decent with mechanical work and everything looks fairly sound but i'm in need of some advice on the electrical end.

the bike has everything it needs to run, except the electrical components, harness, cdi, stator. etc. the bad news is i'm not sure of the year as the number has been worn and painted, (i can tell its a 97+ from the engine) would i be able to get an electrical set up from any year and make it work? provided the stator CDI and harness all connect properly? any advise would help.
