My nut some how came loose and fell of I noticed the bolt looked stripped so I'm going to replace it. Is there a strongerr bolt I should replace it with or any bolt at the hardware store will work?? Of course same size and length bolt

you cant replace it with one from the hardware store! the ones that came from the factory are made of tempered spring steel so they wont bend. use a oem spec one.

Can or can't anyone else have an opinion on this?? Need some input ASAP

Should I just change the bolt or the whole kit??

@beatsly so I pulled out the bolt and I was going to order this kit but I don't see we're it would be installed here's a pic

Well don't I feel like a a**hole. Sorry guys for the wrong info. I'm still learning

Yamaha dealer may have that part in stock or be able to get it over night. That or go to a machine shop and get a good grade 8 bolt that fits. Or, they should carry metric bolts, get one of those. 8.8 or higher will do.
