Ok guys I have a buddy that is looking for projects for a class he is taking. Brought up the idea of him making me a 1 off swinger actually already for a honda style carrier. He liked it. So now before I go any farther with the idea,I need 2 things
1. Any other things any one had liked about other swings
2. An extra stock swinger so he will have measurments for the mounting area at the frame and the shock and linkages. If some one has an extra one lieing around hit me up(depending on time for him to do it, I might be able to offer one for the price of metal and shipping. This isn't a for sure yet, as we're still discussong it.

As for additional ideas he has access to CNC's, welders, and laiths and probably others.

dd a self adgusting chain roller!! lol jk it wont work but this would be sick!! remember light weight is key and add grease zerks to the swing arm pivit that would be nice

If you do decide to make one...I would be interested.....I will buy you a doner swinger off e-bay if needed....

you mean like this? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Char...ors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3a65992a2b

I'm not sure exactly how honda adjust the chain,( never accually delt with it) but on my dad's polaris you loosen the 2 nuts on the back and then put the quad in gear and just give it a little push to tighen up the chain. Is that how honda works also? I'll telll you I love how easy it is

Yep elwood thats the same way idea as the honda style carrier.

Weston: ya Im seeing what metal he can get his hands on for a decent price. Im thinking the same way strong yet light. Kinda playing with the idea of seeing if he can come up with a way of making the length adjustable. Probably not a good idea, but hey worth looking into.

If you can use exact sized holes and 2 from top and from th sides on each side which is a total of 8 bolts it should work fine! Chains would be a pain though

i would try and get as close to the ASR swinger as you can
