the numbers are as follows, A00036 350872 ........I took it to the yamaha shop today and it resulted with no clear answers, they thew out the idea that someone had it machined for a set of perticular hubs that they had? I'm stuck and any help is really appreceated. If your source comes up with nothing, its going back up on ebay for someone else to figure out. Sorry for who ever that may be.

did you check to see if all the year's axles were exactly the same? They may have changed and most dealers wouldn't know either without looking it up.

I'm hoping that Yama Jason or Griff can come up with some better answers for me relatively soon.......this axle **** is keepin me from ridin....

What a weird ass number.... none of my sources have anything close.

It looks kinda like a Yamaha or Suzuki bin# (which isnt the same as a part#). I'll keep poke'n around, but I got nada right now.

I might be able to get this axle milled down to size......any comments on that?

too much work for what its worth, try to figure out what it goes to or just sell it, paypal should have gave you your money back, did you talk to them any more?

Yeah but he fought it and won, even though paypal was on my side. The wording or lack-there-of helped him out, what a douche.....ebayers like that bring the whole program down.....anyways, a family member of mine is the owner of a decent sized tool and die factory here in town and I'm sure he be willing to help me out. I was wondering on the strength loss because we might have to mill the actual hubs not the axle but ill find out soon enough if any of this is a possibility. Also, if I'm going to resell it on ebay, the fact that hubs can fit on it will add a huge amount of value compared to selling it with out knowing what works with it.

Yeah Im getting the hubs bored to fit........I might still sell everything because of the fact that only this particular set of hubs will fit this axle but I don't know yet, I get everything back in a couple of days.

okay thats dumb as **** deano....why didnt you get them to make the axle fit the hubs? If you do keep it and you end up stripping out a hub you will have to make another one made....just sell it when you get it back.

Is easier for him to make the hubs fit the axle and not the other way around. And it didn't cost me anything, just a case of beer. How often do the hubs get stripped or break? Yeah, I can buy a new axle once I sell this one complete.
