OK I was trying to crank the motor over and I started so I decided to take it out for a little boot. It did seem to go right it was getting very crappy performance all-around. So I thought it was to lean. So I made it richer until it started to idle a little lower and rougher. Then I took her out again and did the exact same thing. I did this a couple of times and then had enough so I just parked it. Then I tyred to start her again and it turned over soOoOo slow. Heres what it sounds like. I couldn't record it so I just put the cover on and set it too video. Heres the link:

sure your battery is full of water and is charged fully check it with a load bank to make sure it is good

That doesn't sound healthy at all, but I think it's your starter brushes. I told you that I think your starter wasn't right when you said the armature would get harder to turn as you tightened it, and I still think your starter is ****** up. It's turning over real slow like mine did when the brushes wore out and only one was making contact with the armature.

If I was in your position, i'd just wait until I could afford to have someone that knows what they're doing take a look at it

yea, I'd probably send it to the dealer for atleast the trouble shoot. you could most likely fix it once they tell you what it is.

my starter is fine and I just put a new brush plate in. Ok when I took my whole motor apart to fix that 6th gear slippage we had to grind down part of that case were the counter axle goes and we had to put more washers on it and I think we put to many so that when it heats up it expands more than we thought. So today I'm going to drain the oil and see if there is any chunks. And my dad is getting dielectric grease. And my clutch plates my be warped. I'm hoping that I just had my cable out of adjustment.

That still has nothing to do with starting. When it's in neutral all that stuff is disengaged.

I think I put my starter in right I followed the exact instructions from the manual and the year of my model (well it just says 1988-on) and soon I will be taking it to a mechanic.
