timing chain direction

ok so im not very computer worthy. iv been looking for a thread on how to tighten timing chain or when to replace it. i adjusted my buddies valves last weekend and i noticed his timing chain is very loose can someone point me in the right direction to a thread that can help me :???:

If its loose you need to check via the tensioner on if the timing chain is bad. Search timing chain issues I'm sure a thread will come up that's helpful.
