Do you put your tire pressure at the stock pressure or a different pressure. Right now I'm riding on 2 psi in the back and like 3.2 in the front. What is a better pressure for Racing?

STOCK AIR PRESSURE(psi)
Front standard minimum
1987-1989 4.3 3.8
1990-on 4.4 3.6

Rear standard minimum
1987-1989 3.6 3.1
1990-on 3.6 3.2

I usually run my tires at 5 psi, it keeps the sidewalls stiffer and lets it corner better. It's mostly personal preference I think.

Your tire pressure should be based on what you plan on doing (tricks - "stunting" or regular riding) and how the tire looks. You want the treads of the tire to all touch the ground fully (depending on the tire). You don’t want to over fill a tire so it’s ballooned and all the treads aren’t touching, and you don’t want one under inflated to where the sidewall is on the ground.

I found that after I put my tire pressures up to about 5 front and back, I don't roll as much doing donuts. I always used to roll it over when I was sliding around.

i run 3.5 to 4 psi

it feels like they are too stiff and it bounces all over the trail with anything more

hope it helps

i think he means somewhere in between 3.5 and 4 for both the front and rear tires
