TIRED of missed shifts!!!!

Is there a way to get a better shifter that won't leave me hanging between gears? I am getting sick of this crap.

There's a few guys that were selling direct shifters in the classified section. You just need to keep in mind that most of them won't work with a big bear oil cooler.

do you skip a gear and it revs out really high...i hate that

have you tried ajusting your shifter klinkage at all and replacing the o rings in the shifter shaft it self they ware out and need to be place every once and a while the shifter will move side to side then your o rings might be bad but its good to replace them at least 1 time a year

Heat is also a common cause of the shifting acting up, an oil cooler will help this a lot.

I designed the direct shifter for the big bear setup, take a look at my tutorial. That in conjunction with a cooler will make your shifting ungodly compared to the stock setup, even with boots. Death made a few of these to sell, but they are easy to make if you have access to a tig.
