I went to the Local Polaris dealer today b.c i order all my parts from my inside guy there who is apparently everyone elses too...i ordered my **** then a salesman offered me a Great Deal on a 2007 Polaris Outlaw 500 w/ IRS for $4600...its brand new and he just wants to get it off the lot....I need some feedback from somepeople who have seen one of these in action.. Just the basic Pros and Cons ..thanks alot

That's not a bad price for a new outlaw, but I don't think I would buy it regardless. The outlaw 525, on the other hand, would be a different story. More refined and with that kickass ktm powerplant it would be awesome. The one with the 500 polaris engine is just so-so. The suspension is great on the 500's, it actually has better shocks than the ktm 525 version, but I don't have much good to say about polaris's engines.

If it was the 525 I would say buy it. The KTM power plant is awsome. But the polaris motor is soso like yamahrider said. It's pretty quick but the 525 is alot better than the 500. The 500 is ok but not the best.

Everyone I know that ownes a Polaris says they will NEVER buy one again. They are always breaking something they tell me. The bolts on the frame loosen up to cause they are not hardened and stretch after riding.
I just had someone give me a Polaris 700 2005. Yes he gave it to me. I met the guy because I bought all my windows from him, and I told him about my Warrior I just bought.
The Polaris needs an engine. :-/
