So I was trying to get my rear axle sitting perfect today, and I ran into a snag..

It seems like the whole swinger is twisted!! The left side rear tire is an inch closer to the front, than the right side.
I used a ratchet strap to try and suck the right side in, but I snapped the strap.

Now the first time I took it out I dumped the clutch a few times (Pulling the front tires). Is it possible that I twisted the swingarm?
It also mangled the adjuster..

Heres a couple of pics... I really use some help with this, and maybe some ideas on how to straiten things out?

I don't know if you can really tell how it's tweeked in the picture? But I did the best to capture it..

And then the adjuster.. The bolt, and everything bent???

Man that thing has a seriously ****** up rear end. You said it too much torque! I don't think you could straighten out your swingarm without screwing **** up.

Screwing what up?? I couldn't hurt things any worse than they are.. lol

That 490 has a lot of jam though, and I dunno if I could beef things up to prevent this from happening again?

Yah I was thinking that, but I don't wanna change the temper of the steel? I'm gonna try a comealong.. If that don't work I'll have to heat it up.
