Does anyone have a formula for figuring out top speed? I'm shifting at 11,500rpm, 15t front, 40t rear, and 22" tires.

sorry to have three posts in a row, but are you sure you are running at 11500 rpms? i put in all the variables that were on the spec sheet and kept it at 8500 rpms and it came up with 60.## mph which is close to what everyone says (62mph). with 11,500 rpms you would be running 81mph.

correction.....
with a 15 tooth front sprocket at 11500rpm, 94 mph
either the calculator is wrong or some other variable is off

CORRECTION - just because a motor can rev to the moon DOESNT mean it makes power into that rev range; the gear ratio will also not allow that speed.

With a cam and springs the Warrior will rev tell about 10,300 RPMs. I know this for a fact from tuning it with the electronic DYNA software (the graphs tell you).

No way over 10,500...

might be off on the final gear ratio. Yea, with the Dyna FS CDI, i'll be ripping up to 11,500 providing the motor holds together

don't be so sure that it won't have the power...

the banshee calculator say that at 11500 with 22 inch tires and 15/40...103.88628874437191

That would be pretty nuts. But i wouldn't want to hold that thing over 11k rpm that long. The way i'm lookin at it, it should do upwards of 85.

I am telling you that you wont even get the motor over 10,500 RPMs... You also wont pull 15/40 with any acceleration unless you do some major work. Peak power is at around 9K for the warrior - everything else is over-rev IMO.

I have seen this on the Dyno we have in the shop and the CDI graphs.

I am not trying to be cocky either bro im serious; I spent MANY hours and a lot of money getting the most HP out of that motor. If you got it to rev to 11,500 RPMs and make power into that range I am curious as to how.

I had:

- .430 Powroll cam and springs with 1mm oversized valves
- Custom made copper head and base gaskets
- Port Injected NX nitrous system
- +7 mm Stroker crank with slipper CP piston 10.5:1
- Oringed sleeve/cylinder
- Full Race port work with a SERDI Radius cut
- Edelbrock Carb port matched
- Dyna programmable ignition with software
- Shaved balanced flywheel

JE 12:1, webcams race cam, big time port and polish and chamber de-burr and de-shrouding, 41mm intake valves, kibblewhite titanium spring kit, edelbrock carb with k&n clamp on filter, fmf powerbomb header and powercore silencer, ebc clutch, big bear oil cooler, dyna fs cdi.

oh, and nitrous.

I'm not saying you are being cocky, just saying that i'll have good power. And if the stock crank and rod can't take it, i'll be getting a stroker kit just for the hell of it.

I can take some. I dig it cuz it doesn't look like anything if you don't know. Just an Edel with a K&N and a powerbomb. But once it's running, you can tell. It lopes pretty bad and smells of race fuel. The bottle is nicely hidden under my seat. I also forgot to mention the +6 swingarm and i have mickey thompson Jr. Dragster slicks for drag racing.

Who makes the +6 and why!? its really not needed. what size bottle? Just take a pic of the manifold or the seat off - we will be able to see something (fuel pump, lines, relays). Also I think id notice a +6 swinger on the warrior lol - that is a lot!

Lets see this beast!!!
