I have a 1997 Warrior and I had it out in the ice this past weekend. My problem is that when it is in higher gears, while I am accelerating, it will slip and rev up like it has come out of gear (feels like the clutch is fully engaged when it is not engaged at all). When i let off the gas and the rpms start coming down, it will make a loud clunk and slam back into gear. What is causing this and how do I fix it? It doesnt happen all of the time but I would like to fix the issue before it causes further problems. Any help would be appreciated.

Im not sure how old the clutch is. I just bought it 3 months ago.

its like a tie rod that is behind your reverse lever that you loosen or tighten to adjust it.
