Twist Throttle good ? bad?

So I have a chance at getting a twist throttle from a member and was wondering if any of you guys run one and how you like it I just want one because of my tendinitis, my thumb get's sore after an hour of riding and it would help keep my hands warmer in the winter due to being on Dialysis I have poor circulation in my hands. So just want to get everyone's .02 before I jump on it.

Never rode on but have heard that its not great for trail riding and making tight turns often (with comes with trail riding). And there is always a chance of the ole whiskey throttle LOL.

I had a mojave with a twist on already on it. Absolutly hated hit. I'd much rather have a sore thumb from a stiff throtte.

sounds like it should be called a suicide throttle lol I don't know I think it will only benefit me I guess we will see I can always switch back

You'll have more to worry about than circulation if ya ride with that much, lol! A case of whiskey throttle with that & you'll have a sore ass for sure!

I remember 1 time going through a creek bed, and we had to ride over large, flat, wet rocks, and then up a fairly steep inbankment. Well with everything being wet that mojave lost traction and slid backwards some, when that happened I ofcourse got my balance thrown off and my hand cranked on that throttle and the bike shot out from under me and up onto flat ground. I was LUCKY it didn't go over backwards and crush me. I will never again have a twist throttle. Have ridden a dirtbike before without issue, but something about it on a quad aint right.
