uni filter

I got a uni 2 stage foam filter. Black foam and a red foam sleeve. Do I oil both foams or just the main black filter? Thought maybe the red sleeve is a dry pre filter.

The red sleeve was designed to catch the big stuff where as the inner sleeve was designed to catch the super fine dust

That's what I was thinking, odd though, the one I removed that im replacing seems to have no oil on it. Dumb previous owner im guessing.
