Valve Adjustment 07 450

I've got 300 miles on my new 07 450. I changed all the fluids at 200mi. I wanted to do the valve adjustment myself. Can anyone advise the proper spec ffor an 07 450. Anyone aware of any info posted on doing this adjustment? Is 300mi too soon to worry about it? Thanks for any help you can offer. Love the Quad.

let me tell you it is a pain to get into there and do the valve adjustment, I just did mine at 400 miles.

The specs are cold
intake .06-.10 mm
exhaust .16-.20


Here is what the book reads
1. remove front carrier, front fender, fuel tank, and black cover under tank.

2. remove tappet covers

3. remove spark plug

4. remove magneto cover(black plastics beside the oil dipstick) and timing plug(slotted screwdriver.

5. adjust valves
