After pulling apart and cleaning my carb on my '98 warrior it has decided that instead of dying on inclines(which is why I cleaned it) it wants to sometimes idle good while stopped or moving and sometimes idle at 3000rpm. also hesitates at WOT
if you try to stall the motor by either pulling choke or putting under load and bring it to the brink of stalling it will sometimes(1/4 times) idle normal until touch the throttle also if you turn warrior off and then start it without touching throttle 95% of the time it idles normal till you touch throttle.
since my warrior is completely stock I figure my best place to start is a carb rebuild kit but a acquaintance of mine has a brand new 2008 raptor 350 carb sitting on his shelf he will sell me for $65 so I was wondering if its direct bolt on and is it better than a stock '98 warrior carb
also quick question whats the hose in the foreground of the attached pic for and is it supposed to go anywhere when I pulled it off bike it just sitting under tank not connected to anything.
