hi,Im new here,first post..
My question is how much bigger is the warrior compared to a blaster ?



Has anyone compared them side by side? Anyone have both?

The blaster is a mini quad compared to the warrior. Dont get me wrong blasters can be built to be fast, but the warrior is fullsize quad, where as the blaster is a youth size quad somewhat
 
If you've seen a YFZ450, the warrior is pretty similarly sized as far as ride height and actual frame. The YFZ is a bit wider stock and what not of course.

I know the blaster is a small quad,just wondering how much smaller..Thanks guys. Im going to put the blaster for sale on craigslist and try to get some warrior money..
 
It has been a few years since I rode a blaster......but I remember it being tiny on my 6'0" frame.....
The Warrior is just right.....
 
I have both, just for reference the blaster fits (sideways) inside the frame rails of my 5x8 trailer and the warrior has its front wheels on top of them. The warrior is longer wider and heaver lol.
 
I believe the warriors are at least 100lbs heavier than the blasters, but I could b wrong.
 
I have manuals for both and had a Blaster for a very short time. Sold it to by my current Warrior. Anyway the manual shows the overall length of the Blaster at 66.7" and the Warrior at 72.4". Shows weight at 331 lbs for Blaster and 421 lbs for Warrior.

There is no comparison in the feel of the ride. The Blaster is definitely an entry level youth ATV unless lengthened and modified. I hated the one I had and after one trip to the dunes and getting beat to death, it was sold.
 
Hmm most of the things I've seen online spec the Warrior just under 400lbs. Could of been wrong though.

Yeah when ever I show people my Warrior I say "Yeah. And its 400lbs.. :D" Also you may miss having a 2 stroke engine.

Are they slow tho? I have never even seen one in person..


The warrior appeals to meet because its a full size quad that are all over craigslist for cheap..I also so hear they are VERY reliable..

Anyone know first hand how a Warrior compares to a mildly modded Blaster? Or a piped 300ex?

Pretty sure it'll easily hang with a 300ex probably even beat it in speed. I'm not sure how fast a blaster is? I feel the Warrior is rather quick and fast enough to be fun.

Im 5'11" 200lbs The Blaster just feels small..It is still decently fast however..

slow is a relative term. It dosen't have the 2-stroke get up and go. 4-stroke is no comparison to a powerband. It will smoke a 300ex and be about even with a mild blaster.

They are very reliable when your work the kinks out, and super easy to fix when broken. Parts are cheap and easy to find too.
 
I realize that the 2stroke vs 4 stroke isnt a good comparison,thats why I threw the 300ex on there. I have a piped honda 250x which more or less the same thing as a 300ex to compare it to..
