Im thinking of selling my 1987 warrior, but I have no idea on what to ask for it. When I got it, it needed alot of work. I am not finished with everything yet.

Heres a list of what I have done/will of done when I sell it;

Replaced wiring harness,
Relays,
Stator,
Rebuilt pull starter,
Rebuilt front and rear master cyliners with Yamaha parts,
Rebuilt front and rear Calipers with yamaha parts,
Got tires with 70% of tread,
Replaced front a arm bushing,
Replaced steering shaft bearing,
Replaced inner and outter tie rods with tie rods from a newer bike,
Replaced wheel bearings.

The electrical components I used were used, but off of a working bike. There are alot of odds and ends I did to get the bike working also. I will post pics soon.

depending on condition ive seen them going for between 1000 and 2500 dollars, but like i siad that all depends on condition.

Well I think I have decided to sell it as is. It still needs a few things. It needs,

front calipers rebuilt,
brake pads front and rear,
battery,
exhuast from the header back,
front wheel bearings,
front a arm bushings,
steering shaft bearinng.

I know there are way to many varibles to say an exact price, but I was going to say like 700-800 obo. Does that sound very greedy. I am going to throw in alot of spare parts I accumulated.

I think that price is a bit high with it needing that work, you will probably have a hard time getting to fork over that much when you tell them that list of problems. $500 sounds about right to me unless the rest of the machine is in exceptional condition for an 87.

I will be happy to get that, I was just guessing high. I will put it in the local ads for a little more and say obo.

Its worth what ever someone will pay you for it.....start at your 700-800 and if they give you that or a little lower then it sounds like you'll be happy. But yeah I've seen perfectly running and stable newer warrior sells for $500......mainly just because there a warrior and a dime a dozen stock.

Yeah I put it in for 700, ill take alot less. There are not alot of warriors in this area. It seems like everyones got a z400 or 400 ex.

i got a guy i work with and he wants a quad very bad but doest not hardly have any money for one. i told him about yours and he isnt sure what to think. from the work you said it needs done, i could do all that for i have done to to mine at some time or another.

Let me get some pics up on here so you can atleast see it. The work that needs to be done isnt to hard. The front brakes will be the biggest challenge I would say. Looking at your sig I am sure you can handle it.

ok thanks. im not sure what he will say but i know he wants one just money is the issue. but i will show him and see what he says and i will let you know.

Can I send you a few pics to your email? I can get more, but I ave a few I could send so you could see it.
