Warrior engine id

Hey. I just picked up an 87 warrior with what is supposed to have a 95 engine in it the wiring is right messed up so I'm trying to find what exact year engine is in it so I have a better chance of wiring it. The engine Id on the motor is 3GD-061705 Thank you

Take pictures of all the connectors and wiring harnesses and we will be able to identify what year electronics you need. I don't believe there is a decoding sheet for the engine vins

You can call yamaha with the engine # and they'll be able to tell you. I've done it with a few motors.
