So far the things that i have to do is piston kit and valves. I would also like to put in a new cam from what i have read a stage 1 would do me best. The type of rideing that i do is trail and woods. I oviously want the most power for the littlest amount of money but i also want it to last. The things that i am doing first are gettting it bored and valves grinded. Then prolly a 40 over piston. I am hopping to get some pointers on where to get parts about how much i should be expecting to spend and what brands and things should i use. Then my next question is does anybody know where i can get it bored at i live in the Cincinnati area and about how much should it cost. My dad just rebuilt his and he went 20 over and he spent about 500 but my uncle told me he did his cheaper so i dont know. Also i have heard that boring it out makes it less reliable is this true. What else can i do to get a power gain. I know its alot to ask but i am just hoping for some people that have these parts to tell me how they like them and how reliable they are. Or for people who know what they are talking about to give me some pointers. Thanks for taking time to help me and reading this long post lol ;D

If the cylinder is in good shape, no burrs or bad scratches or gouges, then 0.20 or .5mm over would be sufficient. No need to eat more of the jug away if you don't have too. It's a difference of 353cc to 357cc.

so would i go with the 20 over and isnt the 5 over bigger then the 4 over and with that little of a power gain i agree my cylinder is in really good shape except for a little mark in it and it is still the stock bore so i was told it would be dumb and prolly wont work to just go with the stock size piston thanx for quick replys

Check ebay for new and used parts. I just got a cam with spings, a $300 set up for 150 and its new. And you can get a wiseco piston for $100 and that the set up im getting.

i can buy it from parts store for 85

a new wiseco high compression piston, for the warrior for $85? I paid $125 for mine and that's the best price i found going through all 5 of the powersports shop's master catalogs.

go to rockymountain atv and they have wiseco 40 over for 87 dollars

No 0.40 is eaqual to 1mm,,,,,,, 0.5 is half a mm or 0.20 thousands.

Wait i just want to get this right, becuase im gettting a .20. A .20 is half a millimeter? Is that dangeriously big. Whats the biggest you should go before you get a new jug?

.5 mill is fine. 2 mm over (the Alba kit with a JE has a 2mm over piston) would be about the biggest you could go on a stock jug.

The rappy is a diffrent set-up motor, anything above 11:1 on the warrior and you should mix it. Just to prevent any detonation.
