Warrior only runs with choke all the way out?

My 03 warrior will only start and stay running with the choke knob all the way out. Just got it with a k&n filter fmf mega bomb with no hole on the end of the silencer but that's all I know,looks like the stock header. It's kind os hard to start got to get it just right to start then work it out with the gas lever...then it idles ok. Any ideas?

Start with cleaning that carb and make notes of the jetting. 90% of the problems most people experience with quads, bikes & lawn equipment is carb related.

Yeah clean it well and inspect all the intake boots and the manifold that bolts to the head.
