ok so i got my quad back together and went rideing today and it rattles at med to high rpms when the motor is hot i cant pin point where it is comming from because of normal motor noise but i think it may be in either the head by the timeing chain or in the clutch side of lower end

What did you adjust your valves to? Are all your motor mounts on and torqued? GIve us a little more info.

Probably the upper motor mounts.

from what i can tell its not the top motor mounts but i need to go double check and alsoall the mounts are on and tigthened

Do you have a skid plate? Mines rattles sooooo ******* loud it blocks out my engine.

Make sure you are getting oil to the top end. Mine did that when the oil pupm screen got clogged. (Don't ask)

make sure the mounts themselves arent cracked either. happened to mine weleded them up and it solved the problem/noise.
