blowing across the lake this weekend and after shutting it down for a break, the electric start will not work. it pop starts and runs fine. the battery is fine. there is NO clicking at all when i push the start button, its like a dead machine. the elec start worked fine up until this happened. im going to check ground wires now but i dont think thats it. i dont know $h!t about elec all i can think of is either starter/solenoid/cdi? maybe the button itself? any ideas on what it could be are appreciated.

Try checking starter relay switch, or if you dont know how to test it, bypass it ;)

Sometimes when this happens to me I just give the starter solonoid a light tap and then it works fine.

i wasnt sure about the solenoid because there wasnt any clicking at all, i just bypassed the relay and the starter turned right over. thanks for the help, now im off to ebay!

There is a fuse in the 660 relay, not sure about 350, check the fuse and you might be better off to goto dealer, the one for 660 is only $28
