Weld on wheel rings

Has anyone looked into it like the omf rings. I wanna see how some have worked out. I wanna weld some on my douglas wheels and pc them black

Speaking of them i was searching warrior 350 wheels on ebay and they have some with omf rings welded on. they look good!

Yupp Yupp. Find someone good. Aluminum cracks easy after welding def on wheels. what bout just getting bajas?

Im too cheap to buy them new plus if i design the ring myself i can do it how i want. I might go for the beadlock look

Nah they just a tad heavier than a stock wheel. I shoulda weighted mine.

Im definitaly gonna do this when i get new tires and do it all at once

yea as long as you got a good welder and line them up good.
a welder at john deere i know well did mine for free.
i had the rolled lip rim though and itp rings. i cut the half of rolled lip off with plasma and ground flat to like a 1/2" flat lip on the rim.

i got them on sale for $20 ea. about a year ago at denniskirk.com and just recently put them on this spring. i got the 10" ring for front 10" rim
and i got 9" ring for rear 9" rim.

I have the OMF rings on my Douglas fronts. Douglas rims are perfect to use because the lip isn't rolled. Just weld the rings right on.

My rear rims are the AMS beadlocks.

great affordable steel locker IMO.
