threads are busted out of lower stud hole and nearly non existant threads on upper one, what should I do? Thought about JB, but what a pain if I need to take it off! Im kinda at a loss...Can possibly tap upper but lower is broken out :argh: I wanna :atv: Dammit! What should I do?

Hard to see but I can tap the upper bolt hole but the lower one is busted out pretty good. Ideas?

Man, that motor is filthy. On a brighter note, you definitely have enough to work with to use jbweld and then tap it.

that exhaust was leaking like crazy so its COVERED in exhaust. I have only ran it abt 5 seconds to make sure it had spark after replacing harness. Its my project heap...

Looks like you have enough meat left in there to drill and tap them to m8. Which is better anyway. BTW, it will be easier to do with the engine out.

yea I decided that too pat, oh and the harness that was on it wasnt the same as the right one I put on it, so, no connectors for ya...sorry man. new one matched up perfect so old one must ve been wrong harness? Could have explained the no spark problem i guess lol

It worked out. I got a lat '90s warrior out of the junk yard yesterday for 85 bucks. Has the whole harness/cdi/stator.
