wet die prblem

quad has a new coil and i checked all the wires in the harness,no bad spots.wraped the intire harness in black tape to make sure it was water tight.when it hits a water puddle more than 2 or 3 inches deep and water splashes up it kills it instantly .what could cause this

About 2 zillion things, but check your spark plug cap first for cracks, etc. If water gets up under where the tip of the plug is it will ground out till dry.
