I got +2+1 full flight a arms with stock shocks but the front in is sitting to low I have my boyftiends yfz450x shocks off his bike what bracket do I get or what other shocks are out the for 300 that are better then stock. My boyfriend spent 2200 on his front end that is way to much I dont wanna spend more then 400 any input welcom
 
You could get works, i got mine for 300 or get the diamond j customs relocator for the yfzx shocks. Id prefer works though. Also did you try turning the preload all the way up on the stock shocks
 
^why do you say that? I dont really likd the angld it puts the shocks at
 
Well I had bought a pair of them cause I liked how they moved the shocks outward.. I thought they would make the quad more stable, and they did...

But after 2 good trail rides they were toast!!
I got the ones I had on ebay, and they were poor quality.
They moved round in the shock mount, they rattled, squeaked, and had 1/4 inch grooves wore in them after 8hrs of riding..

I just thought they were junk.

I wouldn't try them again..

IMO, Elkas are really crappy unless revalved and resprung.
Yah I've heard that to.
People I've talked to say the works shocks are better.
 
Elkas are **** they cant never get there valving right. how do the diamond j hold up
