i got a 1996 f-250 im wondering what motor i got in it, all i know is its a 5.8efi im guessing it has the 351 but im not sure, could any of you tell me what motor i got?

If it does not say 5.8 efi on the intake plenum...it is probably a 302...5.0L
The 5.8 had two rubber air intakes at the throttle body....the 302 had one...

my 302 in my 91 ford 150 had 2 rubber intakes on the throttle body, and when I bought my K&n filter for it it was set up for the 2 intake tubes

I could be wrong....but not all had two throttle blades....
Anyway....the 5.8 is physically a lot wider motor as the
deck height of the block is over an inch taller....
Go to Ford VIN website and have them break down
the VIN number...as I believe the eighth digit is the
engine code...

If it says 5.8 its a 351. Not to mention being a 250 chances are a 351 anyway and yes jebby I know they did put the 302 in the 250 to, its just not common. All the 302 powered trucks I have owned have had 2 intake tubes going into the throttle body. If you are not sure after this get us a little more info and we should be able to figure it out.

trucks all original/ the maitnece, now i know what motor i got i got a Q on lift blocks are they just as good as a body lift ro suspension lift?

With a body lift or blocks, you don't gain any extra suspension travel. With blocks you're gaining a bit more ground clearance, with body lift you're just gaining tire clearance.

Yeah body lifts and blocks are kind of useless.... I don't like them anyways.
