okay guys i'm at a lose...... my bike has the hiccups! it runs great while riding but at idel it has the damn hiccups! I just went through and cleaned the carb and it all went back together right. I have no idea what is up with this thing. And I DO LIKE SPARY'S TORQ HEADER!!!! buy one bitches!!! he is a cool ass mofo, and does clean ass work

is it jetted for the header you installed? And what you running for gas?Run atleast 91.Usually that is valves sticking.Stopped for me when I started running 91+ octane in my bike.

no it has stock jetting and it runs perfect the jet i storngly belive are not the problem. But the fuel that could very well be the problem but i dont have 91 oct non ethenol gas arounf here its all 87 and thats what i run could i just run some oct boost and see if that helps and cleans everything up a bit?

You could use the 91 and just pick up some Stabil ethanol treatment and put a couple ounces in each tank and the ethanol won't do any damage.
That's what I use and haven't had any problems

turn air screw out some. you are lean on the pilot jet. My raptor was doing the same thing when i got it. i put in one size bigger pilot jet and still had to play with the air screw to get it to quit having hiccups lol

okay stupid question but which one is the air screw? i havent spent much time in there i just replaced some **** in it the other night but didnt pay much attention to the carb like i should have.

definitely get octane boost.I run 91 octane with octane boost in it and it runs 10 times better.

is it the one with the spring that you can turn by hand?
NO that is the idle screw. the air fuel screw is on the bottom of the bowl

If you don't have a short screw driver, get a flat/phillips interchangable drill bit, and use the flat end. It just fits, if I remember right. Ofcourse, if you are like weston and i, you'd have one of the sweetest carb tools ever! lol

man you don't realize how dirty the damn thing is until ya take pics! gotta get her to the self wash before it gets any colder got snow coming right now about 2 miles away I think I can make it lol! nah if she ain't dirty then it means I don't ride her hard enough!
