I would have to hear it run first but if u got him down to 500 I say it would be good trail support quad, throw a winch on it and extra stuff on the rack

Pass. I had one. Drum brakes and awfully underpowered.

The engines are pretty bulletproof. They make good power in 2wd but I'd imagine, like dead said, 4wd would be majorly underpowered. And they are cable operated drums. They aren't even hyd drum like the honda trx300. When they changed it to the bear tracker they gave it front disc I believe. And a new, better, carb. They reverse ingagement sucks on them, too.

hard to keep a rear end in those too. that driveshaft **** is terrible. my buddy went through his 3 times.

Now that you mention it, I did rebuild a diff for a guy once.
