Front brakes are past wore out, I'd like to get a set of ebc's but on rockymountain its like 55 bucks for both sides which imo is too much. Anyone know a good place to buy brakes (dont say ebay)

I don't know if you'll find the EBCs too much cheaper than that to be honest with you. All the local shops want like $35 a pair around here. You find someplace with a decent price let me know, cause I go thru them on a monthly basis.

Then you need to buy better pads. Id reccomend stock pads, or EBC severe duty. Both wear the longest and about the same.

I meant in general I go thru pads way fast. Sintered metel, severe duty, etc... None of them last very long. I come into bends way hot and wait till the absolute last minute to brake, it's just how I ride thats the reason they don't last long. Right now I'm trying an El-Cheapo set off of ebay..lol. The price is right as long as I'm not replacing them sooner than the others.

That's good to hear...lol. You know how sometimes the cheap **** works the best, that's what I was hoping for.

Well my front brakes have lasted a while and have been through a lot of mud so I guess I'll just get some ebc's from rockymountain. Checked at a local shop and they wanted 32 bucks a side for factory brakes. Back brakes are a different story though, they last me no time at all and I hardly use them. Seems like a good 4 rides and they are wore down to about 1/4 pad.
