ok people need some input. after doing some checks it seem that my cdi box is bad. on off switch checks good and all wiring checked good but my bike will not run so time for a new cdi box. is a new yamaha cdi the way to go or is it time to get a after market like hot shots or ????? need input and if i do go after market what is a good one. curent mods are fmf exhaust k & n air filter.

Only aftermarket CDI worth a damn is a Dynatek programmable. Every other one you will end up with a rev limiter and most are chinese junk and can be bad right out of the box. So stock replacement or Dyna is my vote.
