Hey guys I'm new to the four wheeler stuff and need to jet my quad. Which kit is better Ive seen K&N and Dynajet and I'm sure there are others. which one should a guy use?

Right now I have a 04 with a slip on exhaust and a pro-design air filter.

Any help?

James

there are basically 2 kinds of jet kits out. The GYT-R, which has jets in mikuni sizes, and all the others, which have dynojet jets. Between the 2, I would choose the GYT-R because they are the lesser of the 2 evils, but I don't really see much of a point in jet kits at all when you can buy individual jets for a couple dollars, instead of buying an extra 12 jets that you'll never need to take out of the packaging

Second the GYT-R.
The Dynojet numbering system is confusing since it does not match up to the stock numbering system.

Stock pilot jet is 22.5, stock main jet is 142.5. So if you get a 25.0 pilot jet and maybe a 152.5, 155.0 and a 157.5 main jet one of these will get you real close.

Not to highjack his thread but what are the stock jets in a 97 Warrior? I have added a FMF slip on and plan on opening the airbox with my Uni Filter. Want to know what size jets I should buy to start with on the mods.

order from www.jetsrus.com
or their ebay sales.

all you really need is a 50 pilot and a few sizes up on your main. thats like 15 bucks and you have genuine mikuni jets.
