I have the chance to get a 1987 warrior with a fresh rebuilt motor for really cheap, but will parts from this one fit on a 1993 model as well ?

Im pretty sure the A arms from the 87 wont fit as well as the parts of the front spindles. Also the foot pegs on the 87 are a little shorter than the ones for the 93.

okay, well the guy that has the 87 or 88 (whatever it is) says that it's a 1998 model with the old plastics and headlights, but I just have a hard time believing him. The engine is freshly rebuilt and he only wants $500.

Well if it is an 88 the headligts will be near the front bumper and if its a 98 the headlights will be near the handlebars. Either or for 500 I'd buy it for the fresh motor.

check the vin number......10th letter will tell you the exact year.

^ should be an H, j or W

that chart didn't work on my warrior as the 10th was a zero and it's a 1993. I found it out on motoverse.com (you can find out what anything is with a VIN). thanks though.

O.....thought they didn't use that letter because the letter and number look the same....0 and O

wait, sorry... before I was told to go by the eighth letter and mine was a zero... my tenth is actually a "P". So the chart works with mine after all, I'm an idiot. :p
