Compression definitely helps power but I wouldn't go any bigger than needed on the bore size. Going from std to .040 versus std to .020 will not make that much difference. Unless you are going to go big bore, go the minimum amount and save that cylinder for future overhauls.
 
I don't plan to stroke it out or anything. Bc that makes the motor less reliable. Plus I like the woods more then the track.

What he said. The big bore will let ones head mods shine way more than a std. bore. Higher compression will had heat, keep that in mind.
 
Well I like riding the boondocks so I don't need to much more power anyways. Just good throttle response .
