The title explains it all.
At one time I had 3 complete Warriors a spare frame and enough parts to fill the bed of an F150 truck.
It started with CL adds. I just kept buying.
Then my 13yr old daughter decided she didn't want her Warrior anymore. It was an '87 in mint shape all original. Blue tank/ white fenders. I sold it for $800. And the guy wanted to pay me less:haha:
I also sold all of my spare parts frame, wiring harnesses, 12 a arms, swinger/ carrier/ axle complete, extra engine, ect ect the list goes on and on and on. I only got $300 for all of that. Stupid:argh:
I wish I would have kept the parts to give away to all of yall in need! I didn't make much money on them.
So my '87 and '91 are gone with all of my parts for a grand total of $1100. I really didn't know that guys were still into Warriors, I was wrong, Sorry guys.

The only one I have left my 2001. I'm gonig to start fixing it up now. And keep it.
Hind sight/ Google seach are invaluable. Live and learn, live and learn???
Once again sorry guys.

no problem, a day late and a dollar short i always say. glad you made it on board though. we are a dedicated bunch. mine just blew up with me on saturday, but i'm gonna jump back in there and get back on the trails asap.

welcome to yfm350.com

Thanks.
I did keep the best Warrior of the bunch for myself. Oh and I did keep a few spares, and some powdercoated stuff from the previous owner.
I did like the '87. I looked good but just didn't feel like th 2001?
My daughter liked hers but didn't like the heavy clutch. There probably aren't many Honda fans on here but, I bought her a 2012 TRX250X. Pretty cool bike, it has the slipper clutch on it. Its a great setup for the transition into a clutched machine. You can use it or free shift. Kind of cool. She just misses the performance of the Warrior though.

A 1st gen mint! 800 bucks!!!! I woulda bought it! Everyone on here will tell ya I'm the resident 1st gen nut case. Best year for the wardog 87-88, imo. Oh well, **** happens. Atleast you still have one for yourself. I'm also a honda fan, while the 250 is a waste in my eyes, it is a damn good little bike. Look into Powroll for performance parts for it. They have a noice engine kit for it. The Clutch idea is cool. No more burnt clutches from 1st timers.

Yep $800. The guy even had me hold it up so he could check the front wheel bearings. Funny stuff. Then a week later he calls me and asks if I have any spare jets laying around, thought he might just throw a jet in there i guess. the stuff makes me laugh.
Why do you prefer th 1st gens? Just a question?
The 250 might be a waste to us, but to those in that transitional stage its great. The power is just right, it handles nicely for the lighter weight crowd, and for me its just plain low maintenance which gives me more time to ride. I've got a 2004 and a 2012 both seem bulletproof. I think the piped Warrior was a bit much for a 105 pound 13 yr old. I've ripped on her 250x quite fun small nice power curve and all. I haven't tried to fly it yet though she has. I'm sure a year from now i'll be buying again.
I'll check Poweroll thanks for the tip.

As long as she is happy with it. That's what matters. I just love 1st gens, man. Love the look, and all. Just really like em. I've ridden the 2nd gens and they never impressed me. Got on my friends 88 and was blown away, and it was stock. So needless to say I had to get one. Amazingly I found one in the next town over that is the twin to my friends. Although mine had been through 3 kinds of hell.
