Hey all first post here,i know its not a warrior but its basicly the same motor and im running a warrior carb..but long story short,im fixing up my girls wolverine decided to put a warrior carb on it instead of buying a used wolvy carb.did a complete rebuild of the carb, every thing is new and clean.the only new part i added to the quad was a dg full system(already had k&n filter) so i bumped the main jet from 145 stock to 155.fired it up turned the idle up to about 2500-3500rpm so i could dial the air idle control got that dialed in and went for a ride.runs good up till half throttle once you punch it it trys to pull but then falls on its face and starts breaking up poping ect untill i let off.it also bogs if you punch it from an idle, almost to the point where it will kill its self.i know its in the carb because it didnt act like this with the origional carb.was wondering what to check for to solve this issue,i dont think a 155 would be that lean to make it run like this.im going to pull the plug later and see what it looks like, drop the needle one clip (its in the second one down from the top now) and adjust the float.almost sounds like its starving for gas..any input would be great thanks

Put a 150 main in and its still doing it..it will try to pull even with full throttle but once it hits a certian rpm it starts popping and breaking up..help please

what notch is the needle clip at?
what does the plug look like after a half throttle run

Little up date, changed the plug it had a D8ea in it so i put a DR8ea as thats what it calls for.ran a little better was able to get it to almost 3/4 throttle before it started acting up,when it was hardly half throttle.but when i switched to the 150mj today i dropped the needle all the way to the top slot(it was in the second from top) idle air control is 2 3/4 turns out.did a mid range ride down the road and back and the plug was white,so i deff need to raise the needle.i know the bowl isnt draining because i adjusted the float to drop lower in the bowl.tommorow im going to put the stock 145 in it and raise the needle to the middle slot and see what happenes.it truly has me stumped,it didnt do this 3hrs before i put the carb and pipe on.it isnt sucking air either, idle is nice and smooth with out any popping through the intake and the idle adjustment is almost all the way out.

Geez dude... Listen! Now why in the hell would you put stock in if it is lean at 150?!?!?
Put in a 147.5 and put the needle clip in the MIDDLE position. I truely think that will fix your problem.

Its lean in the low to mid range because i have the needle dropped all the way.i cleaned the old plug up and did a wot run,and it was black when i pulled it.i dont have a 147.5 on hand so i will try the 145 with the needle in the middle slot and see if that works..if it does ill do some runs and check the plug,if its lean ill bump up to a 147.5
