I got an 02 warrior that will not idle for crap. What I have done: cleaned carb, swapped carb, swapped sign coil, by-passed clutch and brake switch, adj valves, checked timing, stator and pickup coil, all were fine. Some history of the machine, I got it with no spark, PO took it to twodifferent shops and they ccouldn't get it to run. I bought it for the shop bill[$167) brought a 5mm Allen wrench with me when I went to get it and loosened the black wire on the reverse lever, moved wire around and ret tightened it. Started right up for the first time in over a year. Lol, you should seen the look on the techs faces when I had it running in less than 2 minutes. After I cleaned the carb it ran great except for the no idling, I swapped carbs from my 89, still no go, tried everything else I mentioned earlier and now I'm stuck. I checked the spark on it and it appears the spark is cutting in and out just above normal idle speed. Obviously I changed the plug, oil, filter and cleaned air filter. Also cleaned tank and put in fresh gas. Now what?

Stupid question but did ya check to make sure your fuel petcock is not clogged? Could be gunked up. Like I said its probably something you've checked already

Yes I checked the petcock, I also used a motion pro aux tank. Yesterday I pulled the carb back off and tried a bigger and smaller pilot jet, no luck. I am positive its an ignition problem. Guess its time to pull the stator cover off and visually inspect the stator.

Replaced the pick up coil with one I had laying around, she idles perfect.
