Hi, I remember this machine being banned and soon out of production in the 80's because it was dangerous. Question here is, I found an old 1986 Honda ATC 70cc kids trike. And it works great. An old man across the street sells it for $450... My daughter is now 2 years old. I want to buy it and keep it in the garage until she's about 5 years old... With proper safety gear and proper safety rules I'd let her ride it. Question is, would you let your kids drive a trike ?

I grew up riding 3 Wheelers an wrecked just as many quad.IMO there safe for me but not my kids. Besides for that price you can get a cheap China quad new. They are cheap made but will last afew years, she will probably outgrow in by then anyway

we have four at the shop right now and we all take turns riding them. my friend is teaching his nephew how to ride one right now. key is not to toss the kid the keys and say have fun. make sure you are right there and that the kid listens to what you say.

 Indeed !

I bought one for me neice. Its a 60cc tri zinger. She LOVES the damn thing. Its low enough to not get hurt to bad is she falls and ive tought her how to ride it. I have no worries about her on it.

Not any more dangerous than any other off road vehicle, that was just the government thinking they know what's best for YOU, like they always try to do. We all know how that goes.

I'd have no problem with it, especially a 70. It will most likely make her a better rider, too.
