  • Powerbomb header[/*:m:6tunh8jp]
  • stroker kit[/*:m:6tunh8jp]
  • programable cdi[/*:m:6tunh8jp]
  • elka shocks(front)[/*:m:6tunh8jp]
  • lonestart swing arm[/*:m:6tunh8jp]
  • trail tech computer[/*:m:6tunh8jp]

Just lmk if you have any of these or you see a deal somwhere...im actualy watching a lonestar swinger on ebay, and a trial tech computer.

Non of these are things that i have to have immediately i just want to have them by winter of 08 for my next rebuild....these are just a list of mods i want to have on my warrior next year.

Well right now I'm on dialup internet, so looking through ebay would take all day. :p

And I didn't get your PM, yeoldtyme.

Someone on here has a lonestar swinger.

Also, do you happen to know which cdi's are programmable?

umm the trail techs are going anywhere from 65 to 95 BIN....yeah i now about the swinger on here but he wants 600 for it im looking at one for 200.....and the programable ones are the dynatech ones....there a lot of money.

I'll be honest I have the powerbomb and I didn't see any difference what so ever. I'd recommend using that money on your suspension. What kind of Elka's you looking for? Reason I ask is they make several different variations and I'm always running up on some pretty good deals. I bought my complete front end for my YFZ, Lt Epic +3, with quad rate Elka Elites for $1200. Which new you'd be close to 2 grand easy. You mentioned the $750 ones off Ebay. I'd be careful with these, remember you get what you pay for. Yes WAY better than stock, but if you plan on racing you might want to look into some that can be adjusted a bit more. Those $750 ones only let you adjust the preload and nothing more, i.e. compression or rebound, which if you do any racing you'll for sure want to have. Then there is the rear shock and well that's a totally new topic. Let's just say for the warrior you have many options....

Yeah, the $750 elkas probably aren't the best bang for your buck. Really, elka in general isn't your best bang for the buck, it's mostly just a bunch of hype. Sure, they're great shocks, but there's better stuff out there for similar prices. You can get a set custom made from TCS for $775 with remote reservoirs and compression adjustment. That compression adjustment can make a big difference. One day you may be riding on a track and want them set up with stronger damping for the jumps and to keep it stable in the corners. Then the next day you go out on the trails, you want them set up softer to soak up the bumps better and keep your tires contacting the ground. Once you learn how to use the compression adjustment to your advantage you'll really appreciate it I think.

TCS are nice, I was thinking about having them do their conversion on my YFZ's. Yama which ones did you get,,,,race or sport?

How much you want for your works? I got a powerbomb header, but I dont know If I want to get rid of it.

yeah i sold the works...im not really interested in any of this anymore for now...excpet the elkas....i burnt my clutch out so i need a new one, i need a new chain, battery and carb for my other warrior then im buying elkas after i sell my other warrior.
