Hey, just in case, I thought mine did the same thing. It wouldnt turn over the starter but would make a hissing noise like the brushes would have been out it the starter. so I just hit it once and it started right up. Thats just if yours did what mine did..
 
unfortunately thats not what mines do in. its not making a sound period and the fuse it good. i can get it to start by jumping the posts though.
 
Bumpin this back up, thought I had a line on one but havent heard from the guy in over a month. Soon here Ill just get a new one.
 
you should be able to buy one for a ford and make it work. That's what my dad did for his Polaris a few yrs ago. Only costed like $8.00 and he still is using it
 
Ive seen guys with the big block, if you will, raptors use a ford truck soleniod. They say its easier on the soleniod if you put a biger and better one in it to take more of the load from so much compression
