The valves shouldn't be loud at all, just reajust them, wemember the setting on a Warrior is very tight, like .004mm and .006mm, use a good feeler gauge that you can read clearly. There should be resistance when pulling the feeler gauge out, but you should be able to get it back in, if not them it's a bit too tight.

I did that and i even got the specifications from web cam on what to use with the cam. It seems pretty loud though, i dont think it sounds right.

did you make sure and turn the engine over 360 degrees to see if you adjusted on the right stroke? That valves should get tighter on the next stroke telling you that you're now on overlap.

compression.. so the valves would be the looser on this stroke then overlap.
It's pretty simple.. just rotate the flywheel 360 degress and watch the valves. If you're coming up on compression then you'll see the intake valve open then start to close and finally close all the way. And as you come up on the marks of the flywheel the engine will be hard to turn over. Valves should be loose.
As you rotate past compression and marks of the flywheel then you will see the exhaust valve open and as you keep turning that valve will begin to shut and intake just starting to open (overlap) as you come opon the flywheel marks again 360 degrees off. Valves should be tight.
There going to make a little more noise then stock just because the clearances are more and because of the higher lift cam. So if you know that there right on then don't worry to much about it. Just check them once in a while.

From what your saying i pritty positive i did it right, twice. And if i get really concernd ill go ask a guy that use to be machanic that i know and rode warriors, he'll know what to do.
