Iv got a set of calipers off a 2006 yfz 450 im trying to bolt on my 99 warrior but everything seems wrong...

When u set the brake pads over the rotor like they are supose to go, the caliper mount is 1/4 inch from the frame mount.. Its like i would haft to put shims behind it b4 i could tighten it down. Also the holes on the caliper don't line up with the holes on the atv there 2 far apart. Are allthe yfz models the same ?? Should they all work ??

The bleeder up seems to look like it would work btr but iv turned each one every way and still nothing lines up

I believe 04 thru 09 yfz450 calipers are all the same
I just bought a right side 06 yfz450 caliper so when it gets here I'll see if I have the same problem.
But they should bolt right up

Already closed the garage and its COLD out there.. Iv got a road trip in the morn but ill try to post when i get back....

If they sold you the correct ones, they for sure will work.
The caliper itself slides on the mounting bracket, this may be stuck not allowing it to bolt up. If you use a little WD40 on the slides and work it back and forth I'm sure it will free up.
You might need to open your pads up a little wider. With it on the bench I use a welding clamp to push the pistons back into the caliper by squeezing the pads back towards the caliper body.
I think you just have a set that needs a little tlc to getthem moving again.
