I have a 2001 warrior and It was running fine less than a month ago- then the other day I went to start it and It would only idle with the choke on no matter what- even after letting it warm up for more than 10 minutes, as soon as I cut the choke off It would die. Any suggestions?

Thanks for input- Ive been searching other websites as well, it seems to be almost 50/50 some say if you let off the gas then up-shift its okay, some say not to do it at all. 95% say never down-shift without clutch, I kinda figured the down-shifting was bad, but ill wait to see if others...

Today while riding around for fun. I was resting my foot on the shift pedal, and it downshifted without using the clutch, so I was messing around and noticed it downshifts only @ a certain RPM but I can upshift anytime without the clutch. now my question is: Is shifting without the clutch...

yeah it is the clutch cover! and also, after reading I think ill save for a web cam :P not too great of reviews on hotcam, not bad, but Webcam has better reviews

Umm i found a easy writeup on bluetraxx.. and my warrior is an 01 and Also, what would be the best cam for dunes... I figured the Webcam .390 is a pretty good all around cam... think that will be alright for sand dunes?

I'm a big dude and I squat the warrior pretty bad, and the shock is adjusted to its max. With my paddles in the sand if i hit a bump ill rub. Whats the best Advice I can get, besides lose weight! haha 6'2 245

Ive got full exhaust. k&n. Vented air box. Dial-a-Jet. 12:1 gearing(moving back up to 13:1). Oil Cooler (Just need to install) A performance clutch. and now Im moving on to engine mods. read the first 4 posts =X

Dont you need a new rod and piston after boring? I wouldn't have the money for all of that

I don't plan to bore it yet, just a cam and springs, just trying to know which ones I can get without having to get machining involved

Forgot to mention my jetting.. I have a dial-a-jet and I cut some vents in the top of the airbox. With a K&N. I may need to cut some more holes in the air box, i think i might be running a little fat at the moment
