    trouble above idle

Does it run well for like the first thirty seconds and then start to sputter a and crack? I had the same problem among others and it was the carb boot. At first I didn't think it was but as the motor got warm and the boot expanded there was a tiny hole. Take it off and flex the **** out of it...

    Another Jersey Newbie

I live right off of exit 36 on Rt. 78. I gave up and brought the carb into the shop. I don't mind working on it but It had been a while and I would rather ride than work at this point. The guy before me had mangled one of the jet heads. Beyond my capabilities. Anyway thanks for the help...

Did some work and now it runs butnot well! Help!

I appreciate all the feedback. I'll tackle the carb this weekend. Just to clarify.....is it even possible that I effected the timing while installing the stator? If it's more than unlikely I'll start with the jets and so on. I read up on the carb threads and am starting to get the picture...

    Another Jersey Newbie

Hello all! Picked up a 2002 warrior over the winter. All stock but the pipe as far as I can tell. Recently put in a new stator and coil. An adventure that took a lttle courage on my part. I usually send motors to the shop. I also have a 1996 RT 180 which I love when the carb isn't having...

Did some work and now it runs butnot well! Help!

Hey gang! Just put in a new stator and coil. Got it started but it's spitting and backfiring. What do you think. I was thinking timing but don't know how to adjust it. I got a 2002 warrior. Any help would be great.
