    Valve adjustment question

Reading the warrior manual it says the engine should be cool to the touch when adjusting the valve clearance. Should the engine be warmed up a bit before adjusting the valves or should I let it set over night before adjusting? Or does it really matter? Thanks for the help.

    Possible oil leak question

Cool. Thanks for the help. I just did the rear carrier bearings. Couldn't get it apart at home, had to use the press at work. Didn't want to damage the axle. I also found the upper motor mount broke. I'm gonna make new/stronger ones at work.

    Possible oil leak question

I was in the process of doing a valve adjustment and as I was looking down the little peep hole to get tdc there was a little oil on the magneto. Isn't that suppose to be dry? I'm having a hard seeing the exploded view on my warrior pdf manual. Thanks for any help

    Carb tuning question

I figured out the problem. The old air filter was dirty which in turn fouled the plug. I put a new plug in and reassembled the carb with a 152.5 main and it runs perfect. Thanks for all the help.

    Carb tuning question

The idle seems to be about right. I had a revelation earlier. I think the plug maybe fouled. When I first changed the main jet to a 152.5 I ran the engine without the airbox or air filter installed. It ran good for a little while then right when I was going to shut the engine off it died...

    Carb tuning question

I tried your suggestion and it does the same thing. After that I removed the carb and checked the float level and its in spec. I removed the pilot jet and the fuel/air screw and sprayed carb cleaner down all the ports and everything seems open and clean. I'm at a loss. I've never had any...

    Carb tuning question

I checked the accelerator pump and its squirting fuel. I took the bowl off and checked the float. It appears to be operating smoothly. When the engine is idling I try to give it some gas I can see a lot of gas coming out of the hole where the needle jet goes down to the main jet. Is that proper...

    Carb tuning question

The airbox is open. I have the air/fuel screw 2 turns out. I just took the air filter off and I noticed the tube that goes from the airbox to the carb is all wet with fuel.

    Carb tuning question

I just finished putting a 155 main jet in and its doing the same thing. It ran great before I put the silencer and filter on. Anybody have any ideas?

    Carb tuning question

2004 warrior. Put an FMF silencer and a uni filter on. I changed the main jet to a 152.5. It idles great but when I try to rev it up it just's boggs. I put the stock main jet back in and it does the same thing. Should I go with a bigger main jet? Thanks for the help.
