2004 warrior. Put an FMF silencer and a uni filter on. I changed the main jet to a 152.5. It idles great but when I try to rev it up it just's boggs. I put the stock main jet back in and it does the same thing. Should I go with a bigger main jet?
Thanks for the help.

I ride near Flint MI. The 150 was too lean for me and im only running what I listed and a .20 over Wiesco

I just finished putting a 155 main jet in and its doing the same thing. It ran great before I put the silencer and filter on. Anybody have any ideas?

The airbox is open. I have the air/fuel screw 2 turns out.
I just took the air filter off and I noticed the tube that goes from the airbox to the carb is all wet with fuel.

I checked the accelerator pump and its squirting fuel. I took the bowl off and checked the float. It appears to be operating smoothly. When the engine is idling I try to give it some gas I can see a lot of gas coming out of the hole where the needle jet goes down to the main jet. Is that proper? Could I have somehow damaged the needle jet while I changed the main jet? The first time I took the carb apart I took the pilot jet out and sprayed carb cleaner down that port. That can only go in one way correct? Thanks to everyone for the help so far.

operating smoothly does not have anything to do with proper float level, you may have tweaked the float unknowingly when you where messing with the main
I would suggest you look up how to adjust the float for proper hieght

to double check before messing with it you could cut the fuel off and start and let idlle for a while (will let the fuel level lower its self) then occasionally try to give it some throttle, if it improves then that pionts to the float needing adjusted

I tried your suggestion and it does the same thing. After that I removed the carb and checked the float level and its in spec. I removed the pilot jet and the fuel/air screw and sprayed carb cleaner down all the ports and everything seems open and clean. I'm at a loss. I've never had any problems like this. This isn't the first time I've messed with a carb.

is your idle set between 1600 and 1800rpm. if it's set too low and you gas it it will blog and die. I turned mine down once to where I thought it was good and then couldn't stab the throttle or it would die, I could only rev it up slowly

The idle seems to be about right.
I had a revelation earlier. I think the plug maybe fouled. When I first changed the main jet to a 152.5 I ran the engine without the airbox or air filter installed. It ran good for a little while then right when I was going to shut the engine off it died. That's when the plug fouled and ever since then I'm thinking its the carb. I won't be able to confirm my revelation till tomorrow I don't have the deep well socket I need for the spark plug at the house.

I figured out the problem. The old air filter was dirty which in turn fouled the plug. I put a new plug in and reassembled the carb with a 152.5 main and it runs perfect. Thanks for all the help.
