I have a 1988 warrior motor i'm putting into a barstool racer but i'm pretty sure my cdi is shot. i've tested everything else. the motor serial number starts with 2xk and the guy i got it from said it came from a 88. i know i need to use an 88 cdi with the stator that is in it but what if i was to change out the stator and trigger coil with a 89 and use an 89 cdi? has anyone done this or know if it is possible?
