1989 and 2003 Motors

Are the motors from a 1989 warrior and a 2003 warrior the same.

I can get the 1989 motor cheap so will it work as a parts motor for my 2003.

everything should work, but the only difference would be the pull start and the decompression lever on the head, but they'll bolt right to your 03 too.

frame geometry is a little different. rectifier is up front on 87-89. cant think of anything else right now
