Ok I get it all now.. But I would still prefer to have the "hiem style" ball joints on both the upper, and lower arms.
I can actually have a set of arms made for me locally. But I'm not gonna say how much they want to do it.....

Let me see what I can come up with for the lowers.

Take cost and mark up 25%

Already marked it up to cover my investment.

The number I have in my head is $150 for the pair of uppers. That would be for stock replacement uppers. I use 1"x.156 wall DOM. I'd like to use .120 wall, but the weight difference isn't that much.

Not too sure about them yet. I will have to get the bungs in hand and mock them up. To do the lowers tack on another 20 for the bungs, doubt I'll charge for the 1 1/4" DOM that I'll need to use. I don't think that it will take much to do, the way I've got it in my head, so when it is all said and done you MAY be looking at 200 for the whole set. That price will probably go up a little because of shipping.

Now, these lowers will NOT be one off completely hand made arms. I'm wanting to try my hand at converting them to heim type balljoints. The stock lowers are beefy mofos, and while custom hand made arms would look sick, they would weigh more, and mould preform about the same. I am confidant that I can either keep the lowers stock width or do +2. I kinds like the idea of stock width because it is just easier. You can run flipped rims like I have now. Speaking of, I have to flip my rims back around and make sure they don't hit the arms the way I have them made right now. If they do, it's either back to the drawing board, or everyone gets stock width and has to run flipped rims. I'm wanting to get away from flipped rims, personally. I only have 1 spare set of arms, so the first person to buy has to send their old ones in as cores, and the same for everyone else.

and this is the estimate for +2's right ?

It will be for either or, as of right now. It won't take but a couple more inches of material to extend them. I MAY not even have to alter my uppers to match +2 lowers. Reason is because my heims are nearly the whole way IN the bung. I'll try to find a pic.

I was thinking about +2 since that is about as wide as most people can go on the trails.

Just a small update. Just flipped one of my wheels back to stock and I have 1.5 fingers width between the rim lip and the a arm on the backside. So plus 2 uppers isn't going to be a problem. I ordered 4 bungs and some more DOM to make myself a trial set. Just need to get the heim balljoints and the +2 tie rods. Going to do that now. I will have everything this coming week, I'm sure, and will begin the new arms probably one night next week. I wanted to get the bike torn down more, but have been working on a side job...
